It covers the principles of medical nutrition therapy, dietary modifications for various clinical conditions, and nutritional assessment techniques. Students will learn about diet planning for acute and chronic illnesses, therapeutic diets, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and the integration of evidence-based nutrition care into clinical practice. Emphasis is placed on the collaborative role of dietitians within healthcare teams, ethical considerations, and patient-centered nutrition counseling.
